The 2027-28 season will be the second full campaign of the GEN4 era, introduced in 2026-27. This new generation marks an important step in Formula E’s technical development, with permanent all-wheel drive and power of up to 600 kW in Attack Mode. GEN4 cars can exceed 335 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 1.8 seconds.
Following an inaugural GEN4 season scheduled around a record 21 races and 13 events, the new generation establishes a new dimension for electric racing. The 2026-27 calendar includes venues as varied as Monaco, Berlin, Brands Hatch, Zandvoort, the Circuit of The Americas, Shanghai and Tokyo.
